“Stam Trading” JSC buys out scrap of aluminum and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The company operations are in conformity with the currently effective legislation and regulations in the state.

Company’s policy is aimed at the better and more rational use of the metal waste with the fullest implementation of the sustainable development principles. The company buys out scrap metal from companies as well as from physical people that submit the waste at the point located in the city of Sofia, “Vrazhdebna” housing complex, “Kremikovsko shose” Str. №15 (administrative address according to the map: “Chelopeshko shose” Str. № 63).

The qualitative characteristics of the submitted waste are being monitored from the time of receiving it.

The scrap processing operations performed by “Stam Trading” JSC are the following:

  • Buyout;
  • Separation;
  • Press baling;
  • Waste thickening until reaching the dimensions of 30-35 cm;
  • Cutting;
  • Shredding;
  • Breaking.

The company offers vehicles of its own and it provides the industrial companies with waste collection containers at their territory.

The buyout specifications are the following:

  • AGGREGATE ALUMINUM /MIXED ALUMINUM CASTING
    TENSE

They consist of clean aluminum casting that could contain car and aircraft casting but not block slits and they should not contain iron, pollution, brass, babbit metal, and all other foreign materials. The oil and grease in total should not exceed 2%.

  • ALUMINUM SHEET METAL/CLEAN MIXED OLD ALUMINUM ALLOY IN SHEETS
    AlMg 5000/Taint/Tabor CLEAN MIXED OLD ALLOY SHEET ALUMINUM

It consists of clean old aluminum alloy in sheets and scrap sheet of devices of two or more alloys, without alloys of the series 7000, foils, louvers, casting, tread-like wire, wire grid, food and beverage utensils, plates, stamped caps, radiator housing, aircraft sheet foil, oil tanks, bottle caps, plastics, impurities and other foreign matters. The oil and grease in total should not exceed 1%. The admissible features are the following: up to 10% painted sheet, casing and plating.

  • ALUMINUM PRINTING PLATE/CLEAN ALUMINUM LITHOGRAPHIC SHEETS
    Tablet CLEAN ALUMINUM LITHOGRAPHIC SHEETS

It should consist of alloys 1100 and/or 3003, without paper, without plastics, too oily sheets and all other impurities. It should be at least 3 inches in each direction.

Their thickness should be from 12 to 17 pounds per cubic foot. Material’s fineness should be not more than 5%, with less than 4 meshes (the standard mesh size in the USA). The material should be magnetically divided, without steel, lead, bottle taps, plastic tins and other plastic materials, glass, wood, impurities, oil, household waste and other foreign mixtures. Each pure lead would give the grounds for refusal. Any and all aluminum details except for the tins used for beverages will not be accepted. The elements that are not included in the specification including the moisture are subject matter to additional agreement between the seller and the buyer.

    • THICK SCRAP OF USED ALUMINUM BEVERAGE CANS (UBC)
      TALDACK

Their block thickness should be from 35 to 45 pounds per cubic foot. Each block should not exceed 60 pounds. The nominal block size should be between 10 and 13 inches. It should be supplied with strip openings in all directions, in order to facilitate binding them into bundles. All blocks in a bundle should be of one and the same size. Size: the acceptable sizes of the bundle are 41 to 44 inches х 51 inches to 54 inches х 54 to 56 inches (height). The only acceptable way of fastening is the following: with the aid of 5/8 inch wide per 0.20 inch thick, steel strips, as the bundles will be fastened with a vertical strip at the row and at least two longitudinal (horizontal) strips per bundle. The use of sliding beams and/or supporting sheets of whatever material is not acceptable. The material should be magnetically divided, without steel, lead, bottle taps, plastic tins and other plastic materials, glass, wood, impurities, oil, household waste and other foreign mixtures. Each pure lead would give the grounds for refusal. Any and all aluminum details except for the tins used for beverages will not be accepted. The elements that are not included in the specification including the moisture are subject matter to additional agreement between the seller and the buyer.

    • BALED SCRAP OF USED ALUMINUM BEVERAGE CANS (UBC)

Its minimum thickness should be 14 lbs. Per cubic foot and maximum thickness of 17 lbs. Per cubic foot for non-flattened UBC. Sizes: minimum 30 cubic feet, of admissible ballast dimensions from 24″ to 40″, 30″ to 52″, 40″ to 84″. The only acceptable way of fastening is the following: four to six 5/8 х 0.20″ steel strips, or six to ten steel wires of gauge № 13 (aluminum strips or wires are acceptable in equivalent strength and number). The use of sliding beams and/or supporting sheets of whatever material is not acceptable. The material should be magnetically divided, without steel, lead, bottle taps, plastic tins and other plastic materials, glass, wood, impurities, oil, household waste and other foreign mixtures. Each pure lead would give the grounds for refusal. Any and all aluminum details except for the tins used for beverages will not be accepted.     • BRIQUETTED SCRAP OF USED ALUMINUM BEVERAGE CANS (UBC)

The briquette thickness should be at least 50 pounds per cubit foot. The briquette nominal size should be between 12 and 24 inches х 12 to 24 inches, with uniform profile and varying length from at least 8 inches and not more 48 inches. The briquettes should be ordered in bunches or packs at sliding boards and they should be secured with at least one vertical strip at the row and at least one longitudinal strip at the horizontal layer. The briquettes should not stick outside the pallet. The total pack height should be not more than 48 inches. The strip should be at least 5/8 ” wide and 0.20 ” thick steel belt or other of equal strength. The weight of each bundle should not exceed 4000 pounds. The material should be magnetically purified of all steel, plastic, glass, unclean or other impurities. Any and all aluminum details except for the ones made of UBC are not acceptable. Each free lead will give rise to rejection grounds. The elements that are not included in the specification including the moisture are subject matter to additional agreement between the seller and the buyer.

  • Aluminum turnings
    • MIXED ALUMINUM DRILLING TURNINGS AND TURNINGS
      TELIC MIXED ALUMINUM BORINGS AND TURNINGS

It contains pure, non-corroded aluminum drilling turnings and turnings of two or more alloys and it is subject to discount for fineness that exceeds 3% up to 20 mesh thickness, for pollution, free iron, oil, moisture and all other foreign mixtures. Material that contains iron, oil, moisture and all other foreign mixtures. Material that contains iron above 10% and/or free manganese or stainless steel or that contains highly flammable cutting is not considered suitable for delivery.

    • ALUMINUM RADIATORS
      TALLY ALL ALUMINUM RADIATORS FROM AUTOMOBILES

It should consist of pure aluminum radiators and/or condensers. It should be free of all other radiator types. All pollutants including iron, plastics and foam should not exceed 1% of its weight.

    • ALUMINUM AND COPPER RADIATORS
      TALK ALUMINUM COPPER RADIATORS

It consists of pure and aluminum copper radiators and/or aluminum ribs of copper pipes, without brass pipes, iron and other foreign pollutants.

  • Aluminum joinery
    TUTU ALUMINUM EXTRUSION DEALER GRADE

It consists of old extruded aluminum of a single alloy, usually alloy 6063, 6061, or 7075. The material should be free of iron, thermal bridges, bolts, zinc, dirt, paper, cardboard and other foreign matters. The paint per cent or other alloys should be approved by the buyer and the seller.

  • ALUMINUM CABLES AND ELECTRIC CONDUCTORS/ OLD WIRE AND CABLE OF PURE ALUMINUM 

Taste OLD PURE ALUMINUM WIRE AND CABLE
It consists of old, plain aluminum wire or cable that contain up to 10% wire and cable of the series 6000, without tread-like wire, mesh wire, iron, national material and other foreign mixtures.

It consists of brass casting, rolled brass, reinforced brass, pipes and various yellow brass parts, pipes and various yellow brass parts, including brass particles with cover. They should be without manganese bronze, aluminum bronze, they should be without radiators or radiator parts, without iron, too much impurities or corroded materials.

  • BRASS TURNINGS/YELLOW BRASS TURNINGS 
    Nomad YELLOW BRASS TURNINGS

It consists of yellow brass turnings, without aluminum, manganese and combined turnings, they should not contain over 3% free iron, oils or other moisture; it should be without tiny particles and babbit metal. For the sake of preventing any disputes, it should be sold on the basis of sampling or analyzing.

  • BRASS RADIATORS/MIXED AND NON-SEPARATED WITH SOLDERING AUTO RADIATORS
    Ocean MIXED UNSWEATED AUTO RADIATORS

It consists of mixed auto radiators, without aluminum radiators and iron ribbed radiators. In view of all radiators you will receive discount for the available iron. The tonnage specification should cover radiators’ gross weight unless otherwise specified.

  • BRONZE/SOLID PARTICLES OF MACHINES OR SOLID BRASSEngel MACHINERY OR HARD BRASS SOLIDS

The copper contents in them should be not less than 75%, of tin – not less than 6%, and the lead contents should be not less than 6%, but not more than 11%, as the total quantity of foreign mixtures except for zinc, antimony and nickel should be not more than 0,75%; the antimony contents should not exceed 0.50%. Without sheeted and non-sheeted standard red wagons.

  • Bronze turnings 
    Enerv/RED BRASS COMPOSITION TURNINGS

It should consist of red brass turnings and it should be sold according to the performed sampling or analyzing.

  • Copper
    • Copper No. 2 / Cliff No. 2 COPPER

It should consist of various plain copper waste (scrap), of 96% nominal copper contents (minimum 94%), which is defined with the assistance of electrolytic analysis. They should not be: of too much lead cover, which is tin-plated, melted copper waste; brass and bronze cuttings; excessive contents of oil, steel and non-metal mixtures; copper pipes with other connecting details that differ from the copper ones or with sedimentation; copper wire that results from heating up, with insulation material; tread-like wire; on general grounds without ashes. Hydraulically briquetted copper is to be agreed.

    • № 2 COPPER WIRE / Birch No. 2 COPPER WIRE

It should consist of mixed, plain copper wire, of 96% nominal copper contents (minimum 94%), which is defined with the assistance of electrolytic analysis. Copper wire of too much lead cover, which is tin-plated, melted; brass and bronze wire; with excessive contents of oil, steel and without metal particles; copper wire that results from heating, with insulation; tread-like wire; on general grounds without ashes. Hydraulically briquetted wire is to be agreed.

  • COPPER TURNINGS/COPPER WIRE IN GLOBULES
    Cobra No. 2 COPPER WIRE NODULES

It should consist of scrap № 2 plain copper wire in globules or interrupted one, with at least 97% copper contents. The maximum contents of foreign mixtures should be not more than 0,50% aluminum and 1% of each of the other metals or insulation material. The hydraulically pressed material is to be agreed between the buyer and the seller.
