“Stam Trading” AD is found in 2001 and for the past six years, it has succeeded to win recognition as a leading manufacturer of aluminium alloys in Bulgaria. Such a success, made in a short time is due to the efforts of the leadership to manage the firm under the conditions of all Quality and Ecological European Standards. As a proof of this, a fact could be pointed out – in November 2006 the firm brought successfully to an end the certificate procedure for the Quality Management System, introduced in “Stam Trading” AD according to the standards of EN ISO 9001: 2000. Also, the firm is preparing to fulfill the European Standards ISO 14 001: 2004 Environment Management System and OHSAS 18 001: 2002 Health and Secure Labour Conditions Management System. Having been certified, the firm will be able to guarantee that it takes into consideration the requirements and the standards of the contemporary society, relevant to its manufacture. The policy of the association is straight forward to satisfy the increasing clients’ requirements, which are considered as a challenge to cope with. The main activity of “Stam Trading” AD, in which it has specialized is the produce of aluminium alloys with one of the highest quality criteria on the market. Except the main types of alloys DIN 226, DIN 230, DIN 231 and DIN 239, the firm produces alloys according to specific customer demands as well. Each new and out-of-standard order is considered as a challenge by the firm. In order for the clients’ requirements to be kept, at least three checks of the alloys’ chemical composition are made in the process of their production through two apparatuses for spectral analysis. There is a possibility for correction of elements like Ca, Mn, Sn, Ti. All the alloys are treated in order for the non-metal inclusions to be removed. The technology used by us allows the production of a full scale by-product aluminium alloys.

Till this moment the association has got three flame-reflecting furnaces for founding of aluminium, and well-equipped production base and office. The capacity of the furnaces is about 20 tonс per 24 hours, which makes about 600 tons monthly. Proved the quality of its produce as in the Bulgarian as in European and world market, the firm is preparing to make use of the exploitation of a forth furnace, with which the production would reach 1000 tons, and the association would be able to face the increasing client demands. There are about 100 people in the labour process, allocated in the areas of production, the co-operative activities and the administration. After the increasing of the manufacture powers, the number of people in production tend to increase with 25%.

About 90% of the production is meant for export mainly in Italy, Germany, Slovenia, France and other European countries, and the other 10% is meant for strategical clients of the country. The big interest in the manufacture of “Stam Trading” AD, shown by foreign firms is not accidental at al, since the association is trying to produce aluminium alloys in accordance with the highest standards and quality norms.

In order to close the production cycle – from the processing of aluminium refuse to the manufacture of goods in accordance with all norms and ideas for stable development, in 2006 “Stam Trading” AD bought a factory for founding of aluminium products under high pressure in the city of Panagurishte. The firm has in its disposal a high level material-technology base, equipped with six founding machines “Polak”, and has the possibility to satisfy more-specific and non-standard requirements, guaranteeing the quality of the raw material used. The enterprise possesses a very good material-technology base for the manufacture of details from different nature. The new enterprise has one 1 000 – ton, one 400 – ton, three 250 – ton, two 160 – ton founding machines “Polak”. The possibilities for development in this branch are big for the enterprise has highly-qualified personnel, which can cope with the most complex and out-of-standard client requirements. Wide horizons for development and ambitious program for achieving are facing the firm.
